Cagayan de Oro City woke up today to a blanket of clouds covering the skies and dampened hopes of capturing the solar eclipse spectacle.

However, a small opening in the clouds was all we needed to get a glimpse of the partial eclipse as shown below. These series of photos were taken around 8:45am.

Because of the eclipse, cooler surroundings was felt … a short respite from the usual sweltering summer heat experienced by the city for several months now.


As of this post, the partial solar eclipse is now on its ending phase.
