People in Southern Philippines will witness an astronomical phenomenon tomorrow morning, March 9, 2016 as a solar eclipse will be visible in Southeast Asia.

In Cagayan de Oro City, the phenomenon will begin at around 7:43am and ends at 10:21am. It will only be a partial solar eclipse. See graphic below.


The partial solar eclipse will have a duration of about 2 hours and 38 minutes.


The total solar eclipse will only be visible in several parts of Indonesia as shown below.
