The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental recently received the first batch of new heavy equipment needed for the development, rehabilitation and maintenance of 1,800 kilometers of barangay roads and 1,080 km of farm to market and alternate access roads based on the province’s Enhanced Provincial Development Plan (EPDP).

It can be recalled that the province signed a P250-million loan agreement with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) in May of last year (Read LINK) for the said project. The new heavy equipment include 2 wheel loaders, 2 excavators, 2 vibratory rollers and 6 motor graders which will be blessed tomorrow Friday at the Capitol grounds for them to be used immediately.

As shown in the photos below, all machinery is by XCMG which is a Chinese multinational heavy machinery manufacturing company with headquarters in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China and presently ranks 5th in world construction machinery industry (from Wikipedia).
