Cagayan de Oro City woke up today, January 25, 2016 to see gentle ripples of cloud formations across the sky.
The unique phenomenon began to appear at sunrise and up to mid-morning. Photo (by April Camille Tan Lao) below taken near Vjandep Bulua.

Meteorologists state the ripple cloud patterns are caused by gravity wave phenomenon. Read explanation HERE.
And accordingly, when these gentle ripples form across the sky, chances are rain will be coming soon.
