Christmas dawn mass goers at St. Augustine Cathedral could be the first to witness the new Gaston Park Musical Fountain display which is set to be formally switched on anytime now.
As shown below, everything is already in place including new fountain heads as well as sound boxes mounted along the circumference of the circular pool. Workers had to rush the project in time for Christmas Eve.
You could see the pipes beneath the water and the nozzles protruding out of the water.
Several sets of nozzles are scattered around the pool.
This is one of three sets of sound boxes observed on site.
The tiled centerpiece was the first to be completed.
Accordingly, the choreographed musical fountain display was tested last night.
Some workers are still seen onsite.
Here’s a closer shot of the nozzles and the lights.
If you have time later, drop by Gaston Park.
