For the past few days, the skies over Cagayan de Oro City has been blanketed with thick haze believed to be caused by the forest fires in Indonesia.

This was confirmed by the local weather bureau of PAG-ASA. Read more HERE.

Shown below is the Kauswagan-Puntod Bridge with the Limketkai Oil Mill barely visible from the haze.


Only the silhouette of the Centrio Tower can be seen from the bridge.

The haze also limited the visibility of some areas of the city.

Meanwhile, it was business as usual at the city proper despite the phenomenon.
