Pioneer Insurance formally inaugurated last night its LEED-Platinum Certified Pioneer House CDO building in downtown Cagayan de Oro City.
The 7-storey building is the first LEED-Platinum building in the Visayas-Mindanao area and just the second LEED-Platinum after the Zuellig Building in Makati City.
Cutting the ribbon are (from left): Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip, CARD MRI Founder and Managing Director, Insurance Commissioner Emmanuel F. Dooc, City Mayor Oscar Moreno, Pioneer Chairman David Coyukiat, and Pioneer Senior VP Sally Ong Pac.
A bevy of guests from the insurance industry were on hand to witness the milestone.
Pioneer Life President Lorenzo Chan Jr. and CDO Branch Manager Clifford Roa served as emcees for the event which was held simultaneously in two floors (4th and 5th).
With technology, guests on both floors were able to see what’s happening on each floor.
City Mayor Oscar Moreno delivering his message to Pioneer Insurance citing the good location of the building.
Dr. Alip of CARD MRI took note of Pioneer’s fast payouts to members especially during calamities. Pioneer Senior VP Sally Ong Pac narrated how the LEED Certification came about.
Insurance Commissioner Emmanuel Dooc congratulated Pioneer
And finally, Pioneer Chairman and CEO David Coyukiat made a heart warming message for the night.
Here’s a quick tour of Pioneer Insurance’s office at the 6th floor…other levels are office spaces for lease. The ground floor is already occupied by Maybank.
A tour of the building will not be complete with a visit to the garden at the 7th floor and roof deck with a view of the city scape.
Meanwhile, good food was served amid a series of speeches and messages.
A toast of the milestone…
Looking forward to more LEED buildings in the city.
