Misamis Oriental’s Carla Marie Madrigal was recently crowned Miss Queen Universe during last Saturday’s Queen of the Philippines Coronation Night held at Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino.
Carla has been the favorite from Day 1 of the competition and bested 24 other candidates coming from cities and provinces from all over the country.
Other winners are Queen Tourism – Surigao Del Sur, Jenny Ann Chua; Queen Earth – Ilo-Ilo, Stephie Cabahug; Queen International – Negros Occidental, Ma. Paula Vega and Queen World – Cebu, Erika Diaz.
