European businessmen are eyeing their sights in putting investments here in Cagayan de Oro City.
This was disclosed by Mayor Oscar Moreno after he was invited by the European Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines as a panel member in an event organized by the group.
The keen interest shown by the European businessmen affirms their high regard, and level of trust and confidence to invest in the city, the mayor stressed during last Monday’s flagraising ceremony.
Cagayan de Oro City is now known as the “2nd Most Competitive City” in the entire Philippines because of the modern advancements and innovations made by the local government in order to ensure fast and efficient service to businessmen and clients.
These include the introduction of the Mobile Money System; streamlining of the Automated Business Permitting and Licensing System; and establishment of three in-house, touch screen, multi-functional taxpayer kiosks that are capable of printing bills of business permits, real property tax, professional tax, community tax (cedula), and queuing number in payment.
