Just like Bitan-ag Creek, Sapang Creek located along Bulua Highway is a perennial flooding problem in the city.

The eastbound lanes which stretches near Honda Cars towards Rural Transit Complex are often not passable to vehicles as Sapang Creek overflows during heavy downpour. Vehicles are forced to use a lane of the westbound lanes to go east.

However, solution is near as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to construct Sapang Bridge including its approaches. Photo below shows the project billboard onsite. It indicated March 9 (the same with Bitan-ag Bridge Project) as the start of the project but up to now, no project-related development is seen onsite.

You can see the cost (P60 million+) and name of contractor. The completion date is October 16 or 222 calendar days but practically due to the delay, this will be extended towards the end of 23015 or early next year.

Here, you can still see some mud retained during the last heavy rain.

Despite the delay, hopefully the project will be completed soonest.
