The number of devotees at the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental have increased over the years. And last weekend’s Feast of the Divine Mercy was not an exception.
As early as before dawn, traffic along the National Highway was already heavy as vehicles line up entering the Ulaliman Road to the Shrine Complex. Thousands of devotees have flocked to the complex for the feast as early as the night before. See the photos below just before dawn with the sea of candles lighting up the grounds.
The 50-foot statue is illuminated.
And finally, the sun rises….!!!
…and the rosary ascends!
