Bitan-ag Creek currently flows under CM Recto Avenue through a pair of culverts which have become inadequate as experienced in the past few years. The overflowing of said creek have affected Limketkai Center, Mindanao University of Science & technology (MUST) and surrounding areas. The project also aims to improve the drainage system in the area.
