Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno recently inaugurated two more school buildings located in Upper Balulang and Tablon, respectively, the latest among a string of school building projects by the current administration.
Last March 6, 2015, the new 2-storey school building with 14 classrooms at Fr. William Masterson Elementary School was turned over to the Department of Education (DepEd) and school officials.
And this morning, the 3-storey, 16-classroom building at Tablon National High School was inaugurated.
Both ceremonies were witnessed by members of the Local School Board (LSB), DepEd officials, local barangay officials, department heads at City Hall, parents and children.
Funds for both projects were taken from the Special Education Fund and approved by the members of the Local School Board (LSB). The SEF is taken from the Real Property Tax.
