Ricarido Edadis Jr., a sweeper of the City Public Services Office (CPSO) showed an example of honesty after he returned to the owner a wallet containing nine thousand pesos (P9,000).
Edadis found the wallet while sweeping at a bakery in Cogon Market. The wallet belonged to Edna Aries Castillo of Piaping Itum in Barangay Macabalan. Ricarido immediately brought the wallet to a radio station which then aired the lost and found wallet. For his honesty, he received a P500 reward from the grateful owner. Randolph Fuentes, CPSO Supervisor at Cogon, expressed gladness that despite the difficulties today, there are still people like Ricarido and his effort should set a good example to other City Hall employees.
