A pair of baby grass owls (Tyto longimembris) that were found in Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City a couple of weeks ago is set to be turned over to the DENR. This was shown in TV Patrol last night.

Shown below are the two baby owls and their “host” who cared for them during the last 2 weeks.

The Grass Owl is said to be endemic in the Philippines and flies low over grasslands and cane fields.
