Imie Rose Zaluaga, a representative of Banco de Oro (BDO) was crowned as 2014 Miss Orobankers in a wild cheering audience at Rodelsa Hall Friday evening. Miss Zaluaga also won the following minor awards: Miss Boardwalk, Miss Splash, Miss Optrima Plum, Miss Silka, Best in Corporate and Sports Attire, including the Best in Gown Award.
Runners-up were Josie Lou Tumanda of BPI (4th Runner-up), Lemonelle Gargar of BPI (3rd Runner Up), Erika Angela Galceran of Sterling Bank (2nd Runner-up) and Eda Lim of Metrobank (1st Runner-up).
The final question which was the defining moment of the night: In 3 ways, how do you describe a woman in a corporate world? Miss Zaluaga cited beauty, confidence, talent and skills as the main character which a corporate woman should posses to be successful in any chosen field or career.
Miss Lina Faburada, 2014 president of the OroBankers was extremely delighted of the highly successful pageant night which was directed and organized by Ruben Balane. Miss Mafel Gatchalian, this years pageant chair is thankful of the enormous support given by various corporate sponsors.
The board of judges was chaired by Miss Cagayan de Oro Chairperson and production head, Gean Tulang-Cesar with the presence of equally competent personalities as judges, Hon. Anthony “Gaga” Brellita, Gil Macaibay III, Danica Fabella, Hazel Asuncion, Hazel Marie Go, and Allan Borcena.
Bankers Philip Rubi and Imee Baja was the pageant’s hosts with special performances from Gintong Amihan Dance Troupe.
