The country’s first-ever Negosyo Center was opened recently last November 13,2014 in Cagayan de Oro City.
Present during the inauguration was Senator Bam Aquino, author of Republic Act 10644 or the Go Negosyo Act, local officials led by Vice Mayor Caesar Ian Acenas and local heads of national government agencies. Aquino stated that Negosyo Centers will provide a unified and simplified business registration process, making it easier for entrepreneurs to register and start up their businesses, as well as gain access to sources of financing. Located at the ground floor of Antolin Building along Tiano Bros. Street, the first Negosyo Center is right beside the new Provincial Office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
