The Bayabas Section of the 3rd Bridge Access Road is now passable and open to traffic. Hence, motorists from the eastern part of the city can now proceed directly to Opol without passing the city proper of Cagayan de Oro.
Shown below is a drive-through of the Bayabas Section going to Westbound Terminal in Bulua starting from the junction of the 4-lane new highway. Some drainage works can still be seen in various sections along the route. It can be observed that large tracts of idle lands are located on both sides of this new highway. Residents onsite revealed that a Manila-based company has conducted survey at the site for possible investment. In a few years time, this stretch will become a new commercial area.
This is now approaching Westbound Terminal in Bulua.
Turning back towards Bayabas….
Ahead is junction at San Pedro Street (Kauswagan-Bayabas Road).
