The JR Borja Bridge’s approach at Carmen has been completed.
As shown, concreting works including side barriers and sidewalks have been accomplished already.
The whole span of the Spanish-funded bridge across Cagayan de Oro River has been completed a few weeks ago but the eastern approach at Burgos Street still has that one huge house blocking the right-of-way which has not been demolished yet.
You could see the house at the end of the bridge…
Se decorative ties marked the new sidewalk.
The new bridge has a carrying capacity of up to 20 tons.
DPWH has set the target of completion for this bridge in January 2015.
