Have you ever wondered how much are the real properties in Cagayan de Oro worth?
We have posted a few days ago that the real property taxes of the city are still based in 2006 values (LINK). Well, the said revised values are contained in the Department of Finance’s Department Order No. 37-05 and can be downloaded from the website of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
Based on DO No. 37-05, the most expensive real properties in the city are located along CM Recto Avenue and Limketkai area (P31,250/sq.m.), and in the adjacent vicinity of Osmeña, Capt. Vicente Roa and Corrales Avenue as shown below. In Divisoria, the highest costs are along RN Abejuela and Tirso Neri Streets (P25,000/sq.m.). By the way CR means CommercialRegular and RR means Residential Regular.
Areas with the cheapest price are located in the city’s rural areas like Pigsag-an, Mambuaya and Dansolihon (P10.00/sq.m.).
