After “Hapsay Dalan” comes “Hapsay Sapa”. Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno recently created the team to declog the city’s drainage system and creeks before the onset of the rainy season.

Hapsay Sapa started on the night of June 3 until the early morning of June 4 with the clean-up operation at Bitan-ag Creek along Gaabucayan Street. Bitan-ag Creek is the city’s largest main drainage with outlet to Macajalar Bay. It usually overflows during the rainy season which causes the perennial flooding of CM Recto Avenue.
