Here are a few photos of Cagayan de Oro after a bombing raid during World War II.

The photos are displayed at Museo de Oro in Xavier University. First photo is the famed water tower near Gaston Park…it just shows it survived the bombing in the second world war.


Next photo shows the ruins of St. Augustine Cathedral. Note the belfry is still on the left. The re-constructed church had the belfry at the right.


There are no labels on the photos…I believe this next photo shows the ruins of Ateneo de Cagayan or Xavier University.
