In case you haven’t visited Centrio Mall lately, the mall management decided to trim one of the two Acacia trees at Centrio Garden.

The two Acacia trees were retained from the original Floirendo property to maintain the ecological balance with the development of the mall around it. As shown, the affected tree has been a subject for concern among not just the mall management but among shoppers whether the tree will survive after showing some signs of decay with the absence of leaves.

The tree was actually just trimmed down to its branches and not totally uprooted.

For a few weeks, the tree has been off-limits to mallers with labels of “under medication”.

With the tree cut down to size, the shade its large branches previously provided is now gone.

I wonder what Centrio Mall has in mind right now…
