Just recently, El Salvador City in Misamis Oriental inaugurated its “Pasalubong Center” (LINK), and among the products is the “Salvadore” a locally produced wine made from black plum and cashew.

But do you know that “Salvadore” started just as a community livelihood for housewives?


Salvadore is now slowly being marketed in Cagayan de Oro.Now that tourists can access the wine through the Pasalubong Center, chances are “Salvadore’ is poised to enter the national scene and perhaps hopefully get noticed by wine lovers.
