La Castilla is a museum which once served as the summer residence of the late founders of Liceo de Cagayan University. It is one of Cagayan de Oro’s four (4) museums open to the public.
Built in the 1960s, the museum located at the corner of the National Highway and RN Pelaez Boulevard was officially opened to the public in 2007. The founders of course are Rodolfo Neri Pelaez and Elsa Pelaez. La Castilla shows the lifestyle of the Pelaez Family for the past 4 decades.
Below is the marker placed on the building.
