Cagayan de Oro-born Pamela Lastimosa is making a name for herself in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament.
Playing for the University of Sto. Tomas, Lastimosa is currently averaging 12.9 points off 10.6 kills, 1.6 blocks and 0.7 aces surpassing her 2012-13 total after just seven games and is a strong candidate for UAAP Season 76’s Most Improved Player Award. (SOURCE)
In May of 2013, she won the Most Improved Player Award (photo above) in the 2013 Shakey’s V-League, the country’s premier women’s volleyball league since 2004.
Aside from her emerging sports ability, Lastimosa is also a crowd favorite being named as among the cutest players last year. (LINK)
