Slow-moving Tropical Depression “Agaton” has changed course and is now moving west.

As shown in latest PAG-ASA Weather Bulletin, the track of Agaton is forecast to move across Northern Mindanao and is expected to be in the vicinity of Cagayan de Oro by Monday morning, January 20, 2014.

With maximum winds at 55 kph and moving west at 5 kph, Agaton has so far caused flooding and landslides in different parts of Mindanao. It is expected to weaken once it hits landmass in CARAGA Region.
