A National Historical Institute (NHI) marker at Gaston Park has been affected by the ongoing redevelopment of the said park.

As shown above, the marker was removed. I just don’t know whether they will place the said marker at the same site after the project or relocated to some other place. Below is a closer look of the marker which commemorates “SIETE DE ABRIL”, April 7, 1900 – the date which Gen. Nicolas Capistrano attacked the American forces.
