Hotel Centro opening soon

The new hotel along Corrales Avenue currently on the final stages of construction finally has a name – HOTEL CENTRO.

As shown below, the large logo is already seen at the top portion of the hotel facade. I have no details yet of this hotel – how many rooms, rates, amenities, etc…. but hopefully soon when this hotel finally opens its doors to the public. At the ground floor are commercial spaces occupied by GRAM Convenience Store, Print Creations and Dessert Strip Café.

Conveniently located along Corrales Avenue, the hotel’s name could be confused with that of Centrio – Ayala’s mall located a few hundred meters away. Still, it’s still one of this accommodation’s advantages – near malls and at the city proper.

Centro is very common term. although sounding like centrio which is actually a word combination of two, centro for center and rio for river. For the word “Centro” – this is a common knowledge. Hence, no one can dispute or complain of imitation. However for “Centrio” this is brand name owned by the Ayalas. Therefore your fear of legal issue is farfetched.
