Kagay-anons will finally have their much awaited Krispy Kreme experience when the 5th Krispy Kreme Drive-Thru branch in the Asia Pacific region opens at Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City by the second week of November 2013.
Known for its unique quality sweetness, the famed American donut will build a factory outlet as its inaugural store in Cagayan de Oro. This means all donuts will be produced in the store. You will see the HOTLIGHT – hot and freshly made donuts. Not only that, you will be able to see how the they are made from dough to the melt-in-your-mouth treat like the one shown below.
According to Mark E. Gamboa, Marketing Manager of Krispy Kreme Philippines, what makes them different from other donuts is the sense of having a unique unforgettable feeling once their doughnut gets inside your mouth – to Mark, his first bite of Krispy Kreme’s original glazed donut was so unforgettable that when he closed his eyes trying to analyze the taste, “it seemed that time stopped for a moment.” Mark said he can’t wait for their CDO store to open and perhaps share some more Krispy Kreme stories.
Shown below are Mark and Nadia Lee Shami, Assistant Marketing Manager for Visayas-Mindanao with the early batch of Krispy Kreme donuts which they brought – Krispy Kreme donuts are bigger and heavier than other donuts.
Among Krispy Kreme’s latest additions are the Chocolate Creations shown below…who doesn’t like chocolates?
Nadia who is a former beauty queen (Bb. Pilipinas International 2007), will be overseeing the progress of its Limketkai branch and looks forward to the opening where a lot of sweet treats are in store for the first 100 guests. According to her, when Krispy Kreme first opened in Cebu in 2011, some pe0ple even built tents just to be the first in line. She expects the same here in Cagayan de Oro. In fact, according to her, their first guest in Cebu was from Cagayan de Oro.
Here’s the exciting part…For the first 100 guests, the first in line will have A YEAR OF SUPPLY OF KRISPY KREME ORIGINAL GLAZED DONUTS!!!!! – More specifically, this translates to one free box of a dozen donuts per week. The second in line gets SIX MONTHS SUPPLY OF ORIGINAL GLAZED DONUTS. The third in line will have a THREE MONTH SUPPLY OF THE SAME SWEET TREAT while the fourth to the 100th will have A MONTH OF SUPPLY. By the way, Krispy Kreme will rather call them GUESTS than clients or customers.
For those who would want to avail of the free treats, Krispy Kreme Limketkai is set to open at 6:00AM and will close at around 11:00pm. They are still finalizing the exact date of the grand opening though. In due time or a couple of weeks before the final opening date, the much awaited announcement will be made – THE OPENING DATE.
Another good thing is that Krispy Kreme is active in charity work. Did you know that they also gave Sendong victims?
Special thanks to the Limketkai Group for bringing Krispy Kreme to Cagayan de Oro.
