UKC Builders, the contractor of the JR Bridge, the 6th bridge project crossing Cagayan de Oro River, has started construction works at the western (Carmen) side of the bridge project.

As shown, sheet piles are now visible along the river bank of the Carmen side while heavy equipment and circular steel mesh for the bridge’s piles can also be seen. The sheet piles are in preparation for the river protection works which will serve as abutment for the bridge.
