Here are fresh aerial photos of the ongoing construction of the coastal road project (Lapasan-Gusa section) which connects to Galaxy area in Gusa.

As shown, the coastal road has now made the expected turn at Gusa.

Comparing the photo above and the layout below, it seems the bay has already inundated part of the shoreline… You will notice that road will wipe out many structures along the way where it connects to the National Highway in Gusa. See my post last April 26, 2011 for the COASTAL ROAD ROUTE LAYOUT HERE.

The large area behind the new seawall of the coastal road will be backfilled and perhaps a good site for investment. You could also see some culverts along the coastal road – this will serve as outlet for the creek shown at left (below).

Just ahead of the turning point of the coastal road is this old seawall of Villa Ernesto Subd. Phase 2 (right) and some fishpens along the bay (left).

This is just the Lapasan-Gusa Section. The whole plan is to extend this to Puerto terminating at Sayre Highway. It will be interesting to know how they will plan this out since there are ports and jetties in Tablon and Agusan areas.
