A hanging bridge, a zipline and a swimming pool – that’s Cabula River Resort located in Cabula, Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.

In December 2011, Typhoon Sendong ravaged the resort washing away resort structures including the wooden cottages, the zipline and the small hanging bridge. The large pool was not destroyed but was only covered with mud. After months of rehabilitation the pool was restored. Slowly, the management built a much more rigid support for the hanging bridge and the zipline is back… and most importantly, the resort goers are back.

The resort is just a few minutes walk from Macahambus Cave.
