Cagayan de Oro City has emerged ninth in the Top 10 largest overnight (tourist) destinations in the country, according to a Department of Tourism (DOT) official.

Quoting DOT Market Development Director Cynthia Lazo from a news article, Cagayan de Oro City in Misamis Oriental province, had 200,295 tourists who stayed overnight which also tops in Mindanao. See complete list below.
