McDonald’s Limketkai, a major milestone in the fast food chain’s presence in the Philippines being its first branch outside Metro Manila (1992—Luzon if branch inside US Subic Naval Base is considered), is now closed and due for reconstruction.
As shown below, the store is now closed after 21 years. As I have stated before, this is a reconstruction – meaning a new building will be built to replace the current one.

Accordingly, sources state the new McDonald’s Limketkai is targeted to re-open in October.
