Many are asking about transportation at Laguindingan Airport. Initially, there is no problem but basically, you need to allocate taxi allowance.
As shown, quite a long line of taxis are observed near the entrance of the airport complex. These are not airport taxis but metered taxis. By practice, they charge (“pakyaw system”) between P700 to P800 from airport to Cagayan de Oro City proper. It’s quite expensive but ferries you at your doorstep.
Another mode of transportation is this aircon multicabs by operated by CDOTransco. The plate states Airport to Hi-way Terminal. Fare is P20. There are currently six (6) units operating at Day 1 but expect fourteen (14) more to come which will serve the Airport-CDO route at P200/head. They are currently using a promo rate of P150/head. Their terminals in CDO are at Divisoria (near DBP), Kauswagan SaveMore and at SM City Pueblo de Oro.
This mini coaster below is also available for negotiation.
This is another airport shuttle operated by Super Five bus company. They have a terminal at the highway junction. Passengers taking the bus could get off at the said terminal and board one of these shuttles.
