Here are latest photo updates of Paseo Mall and Riviera Hotel located at Paseo del Rio Business Complex in Cagayan de Oro City.
Exterior painting is still ongoing at the mall building.
Workers are seen on suspended scaffolding along the building’s northern face.
Below is the eastern (front) side of the building. This is perhaps just the first coating.
The Riviera Hotel is seen in the background.
Here’s a shot of Riviera Hotel. As shown, full blast construction for the upper floors.
A closer look of the hotel shows the high ceiling levels of the lower floors.
Rebars and concrete pouring is ongoing at the upper floors.
In the photo below, you may notice the floor level marked “8″ but this is actually the 9th floor.
As illustrated below, construction is now on the 9th going 10th.
Here’s a closer look of the discrepancy…the floor between 7 and 6 was unmarked.
Riviera is an 18-storey building with 15 hotel floors and 3 lower floors for various function halls and commercial area.
This project should have a flood control plan. Any time, flood may come in that area and at least the hotel and the neighboring communities will not be affected…
their plan is to condemn the 2 lower floors. operations start on the 3rd level

I wish this will have a large seating area function area because we only have the Atrium (that’s airconditioned). The CDO Convention center is still unfinished.
good decision the management is going to condemn the 2 lower floors. at least the mall was at its pacing situation pa when sendong came. at least they can be extraprecautious for any disaster that may come.
Paseo Del Rio and the expansion of ketkai mall will be more BIG things in our city! kudos cdo!
