Here are more recent aerial photos of a misty morning in Cagayan de Oro City taken aboard a flight from Cebu City.
Below is a shot of the city’s expanding commercial business district with Ayala’s Centrio (left) and Limketkai Complex (background) clearly stand out.
Here’s a shot of the 30-year old Pelaez Sports Complex and its surrounding areas. At the back you can see the now vacant lot once occupied by Vacation Hotel. Rumor has it a large Manila-based firm has some “big” plans on the said lot.
Another photo of the city’s urban center. Note the mist enveloping the city. The inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is still affecting the city.
A photo of Camella Homes and Xavier Estates (foreground) with Lower Balulang (riverside) and Upper Macasandig (back).
This is a usual shot of Xavier Estates as the plane nears the runway.
Here’s another misty shot of urban Cagayan de Oro City. Most notable is the Palafox-designed Riviera Hotel at lower right.
Here’s a closer look of Riviera Hotel at Paseo del Rio.
