Rain gauges installed in various areas around Cagayan de Oro recorded high rainfall early today as Typhoon “Pablo” made landfall over Baganga, Davao Oriental.
Shown below is the rain gauge in Baungon, Bukidnon which clearly showed 12.7mm of rain at 5:30AM.
In Kinawe, Libona which is just south of the city, some 15.494mm of rain fell. The graph really showed the sudden rise.
In Talakag, upstream of Cagayan de Oro River, 9.144mm of rain fell during the first heavy downpour experienced.
All three charts were very clean as I posted several hours ago. Now, they clearly showed remarkable rise in rainfall.
