TYPHOON “PABLO” HAS MAINTAINED ITS STRENGTH AND IS NOW THREATENING DAVAO ORIENTAL – SURIGAO DEL SUR AREA.
Forecast Positions: Typhoon “PABLO” is expected to be in the vicinity of Cagayan de Oro City by tomorrow afternoon. By Wednesday afternoon, it will be at 110 km Southwest of Iloilo City and at 330 km West of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro by Thursday afternoon.

(Winds of 101-185kph is expected in at least 18 hrs.)
Surigao del Norte incl. Siargao, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Province, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley and Davao del Norte incl. Samal Is.

(Winds of 61-100 kph is expected within the next 24 hours)
Visayas: Southern Leyte, Bohol, Southern Cebu, Negros Oriental and Siquijor
Mindanao: Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato and Zamboanga del Norte
Public Storm Warning Signal #1:
(Winds of 45-60kph is expected within the next 36 hours)
Luzon: Northern Palawan incl. Calamian Grp. Of Islands and Cuyo Island
Visayas: Eastern Samar, Western Samar, Leyte incl. Biliran, Aklan, Capiz, Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, Negros Occidental and Rest of Cebu incl. Camotes Is.
Mindanao: Zamboanga del Sur, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and South Cotabato
*Estimated rainfall amount is from 15 to 30 mm per hour (heavy – intense) within the 600 km diameter of the typhoon.
*Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signal are alerted against possible flash floods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas under public storm warning signal #3 and signal #2 are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this Typhoon.
*Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the Eastern Seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao.
*The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11PM today.
