Heavy equipment now at rumored Chinese mall and condotel site

There is now heavy equipment at the site of the rumored Chinese mall and condotel at the corner of A. Luna and Capt. Vicente Roa Streets.

As shown, a field office has been set up also at the site. All makeshift structures within the said property were demolished over the weekend. In previous reports, the mall/condotel project will start if the creek (shown below) which traverses the property will be re-aligned along the road. This is what I had in mind when I saw the back hoe onsite.

The location is ideal with Ayala’s Centrio Mall in the background.

Good so that the informal settlers in that location will be minimized. Hopefully, Luna, which is a favorite shortcut will be widened.
