Agudo property near old Coke plant now cleared

The Agudo property located beside the former Coca-Cola Bottling Plant has been cleared of structures.

Clearing was undertaken a few weeks ago and completed last week. As shown, the building which used to house an FM Radio Station (Mellow Touch) is now gone. The radio station has long transferred to TS Fashion Bldg along Corrales Avenue. Only the bank located at the front remains perhaps to finish the lease contract. The side gate of the old bottling facility which is now the site of the future mall of SM can now be seen.

Photos below show the southeast part of the property which borders Rosario Strip and Limketkai Gateway Building. This section remained undeveloped for many years. This property is more or less 1.5 hectares. The plant site is more or less 1.7 hectares.

Some scavengers are seen inside the said property perhaps looking for discarded iron bars.

Rumor has it that the said property was negotiated by SM to complement the plant site where the mall will rise.
