It’s going to be the tandem of Babiera-Militante against Emano-Pelaez for the province of Misamis Oriental in next year’s local elections.

Vice Governor Norris C. Babiera and 2nd District Rep. Yevgeny Vincente B. Emano, both hailing from Tagoloan, will vie for the governorship while former Provincial Board Member Wayne T. Militante of Gingoog City will go against DepED-CSCA Executive Director Joey G. Pelaez, a scion of the prominent Pelaez clan descending from the late Misamis Oriental Governor Gregorio A. Peláez and Former Philippine Vice President Emmanuel Neri Peláez.
