Cagayan de Oro’s Modesto Taran has defied the odds and is now entered in the Final 12 of X Factor Philippines.
The 55-year old Taran, a former security officer advanced in the over 25s category (solo performers 26 years old and above). The X Factor Philippines is adapted from the original UK show as part of The X Factor franchise, to find new singing talent in the Philippines. It is the first franchise to be adapted in Southeast Asia. The winner will receive a 4 million peso worth of recording contract with Star Records.
