Passed by the work site of the 33-storey Limketkai Gateway Tower yesterday and took some photo updates.
As shown in the photos below, excavation is ongoing at the site exposing the driven concrete piles. Clearly, you may observe the two types of piles. The large diameter piles were the latest piles completed by Bauer Foundation. The smaller piles where the old ones previously driven several years back. In case you didn’t know, the original plan was for a twin 21-storey building until changes were made a couple of years back. The excavations are necessary to place the yellow steel beams found onsite which I believe will form the concrete foundations of the building.
In a couple of months, we may finally see the rise of the tallest building in this part of the country when completed.
