Here are new constructions in Cagayan de Oro City, first for the year. First is this one in Carmen just beside Jollibee Vamenta along Max Suniel Street.
Actually, excavation and pile driving began late last year and now, pre-fab concrete slabs are being installed for the building’s structural frame as shown. I believe this will have 3 floors.
Next is another commercial building construction along Clementino Chaves Street across the old Vacation Hotel. As shown, work is focused on the ground floor with rising steadily to the 2nd floor.
This construction below is along Corrales Extension just some 50 meters north of Capitol University. It’s previously a car wash center.
This photo below shows a new establishment about to open at Pelaez Sports Complex at the corner fronting MOGCHS. A 24-hour eatery had also opened a few months earlier on the opposite side of the area.
This old house below along Apolinar Velez Street used to be Alavar Seafood House in the old days. A boutique then occupied the building but still it closed shop. Now, renovation seems to be in the offing as shown. They need to exorcise the bad energy from this building.
This construction below is along JR Borja Street near Tiano Bros. and used to be Southphils, a handicraft store.
UCPB Velez shown below is currently undergoing a major facelift and renovation. Work has been going on until night time that you can help but notice it when you pass by the area.
Lastly, this 2-storey building under construction is along Toribio Chaves Street just a stone’s throw away from Xavier University. “Something Sweet” is also set to open soon as shown in the tarp installed onsite. It looks a snack bar.
These are just some of the new projects in the city. More will be posted soon.
