The road networks around the Macanhan flyover is set to be completed next week based on sources onsite.
As shown, the access road from Zayas to Masterson and to Macanhan is now nearing completion.
This road is still closed to traffic.
This view taken from Zayas looking east.
Photo below shows the view from Masterson Avenue. Uptown-bound vehicles from Zayas and Macanhan take this road.
Retaining wall on the left is still under construction as shown. That Cepalco pole will have to be relocated.
Vehicles coming from Zayas Road and bound for uptown will still make the usual u-turn at the identified spot. I think you can spot the small island they have provided in the photo below. This road is elevated from the original Zayas Road level and minimizes the steep climb towards Masterson Avenue.
They’re now preparing for the installation of the railings.
Meanwhile, Macanhan-bound vehicles coming from uptown take this newly opened road. Construction of retaining wall is also ongoing as shown.
Photo below is taken from the junction looking west. Heavy equipment and construction materials are in the area. This will be removed soon.
The eastern road networks are already passable.
