LUCIO TAN PLEDGES 600 HOUSES

Business tycoon Lucio Tan dropped by the office of City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano and pledged to build 600 houses for the city folks who were rendered homeless by the typhoon Sendong. The houses which are to be patterned after the standard designs suggested earlier by the Filipino Chinese Community (who also pledged to build 300 houses) are to be built on the 9-hectare relocation site in Barangay Canitoan.

WIL’S TIME @ CITY HALL

TV host Willie Revillame took the time to make a courtesy call to Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano to hand-in a 2M cheque donation to help the flood affected families in the city last December 30, 2011.

Above shows Governor Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu, together with other officials of the province of Maguindanao, called on Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano as they gave aid to the city in the form of supplies and a mobile hospital which will come handy in reaching out to flood-affected citizens needing medical attention.

More than a month after the devastating typhoon “Sendong” struck the city, cash donations from local government units are still pouring in. Photo show shows Mayor Dongkoy Emano accepting the P3M check from Cebu City Mayor Michael “Mike” Rama when he paid a courtesy call.
