Maclean Sabellina scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the STI College Olympians over defending champion University of Manila Hawks, 90–72, at the start of the 11th Season of the National Athletic Association of Schools Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) last July 29, 2011 at the Makati Coliseum.

The 6-foot-4 Sabellina was one of STI’s first recruits from Cagayan de Oro. The slam-dunking Sabellina, who played for Pacific Pipes in the PBA D-League, led the Olympians to avenge their defeat to the Hawks in last year’s championship series.
