Here are the latest updates of the Laguindingan Airport Development Project (LADP) as of June 30, 2011.
Per latest project status report by the Project Management Office, work is now 85.70% complete. However, civil works particularly on the vertical works are somewhat delayed relative to scheduled targets. Below is a summary of the status of construction activities.
Meanwhile, regarding the AIR NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND SUPPORTS FACILITIES (ANSSF), which costs US $ 16.07 Million (PhP 755.24 Million), the bid documents for the procurement of the ANSSF are for review and approval by the DOTC Bids and Awards Committee (BAC). Implementation schedule of the ANSSF project will be twelve (12) calendar months.
For the two (2) major components of the project, the combined physical progress registered an actual accomplishment of 80.43%, delayed of schedule by 6.24% of the target percentage of 86.67%. The project is scheduled to be completed by January 2012 and projected to be operational by 2nd Quarter of 2012.
